Our comparison data comes from publicly available, authoritative sources:

NAIC Complaint Index: The National Association of Insurance Commissioners publishes complaint ratios for insurance companies. A score of 1.0 is average. Below 1.0 means fewer complaints than expected; above 1.0 means more complaints than expected.

J.D. Power: Annual customer satisfaction surveys covering claims handling, price, policy offerings, billing, and customer interaction. Scores are out of 1,000.

AM Best: Financial strength ratings that indicate an insurer's ability to meet ongoing policy and contract obligations. A++ is the highest rating.

Premium Data: Average premium estimates are based on NAIC Auto Insurance Database Reports and state Department of Insurance filings. Actual rates vary based on individual factors including driving record, credit, age, and vehicle.
